Men’s Ministry

We hope that everyone will feel at home in St Paul’s and especially the men. One of our beliefs is that if we can provide a place where men can grow in their faith then the whole church will benefit. So for the men we have a varied programme of events and groups.

Football - Every Friday night between 7pm and 8.15pm at Twyford School (off Uxbridge Road, Acton) around 15 – 20 guys gather to play football. You don’t have to be good (even the vicar plays sometimes!) but just want to join in with other guys who may, or may not, come along to St Paul's. Bring your kit or come ready changed to play on the all weather pitch - you’ll receive a warm welcome. Further details from Dan Haigh: haigh333@btinternet.com

Golf – there are many men in the church who enjoy playing golf and you wouldn’t find it difficult to find someone to play with. However we also arrange golf days every now and then and all are invited to come along.

Breakfasts – The men’s ministry host occasional men’s breakfasts with guest speakers. A cooked breakfast of some sort is always offered and these are great occasions to invite friends along.

The next Men's Breakfast is on 7th November from 8.00am - 10am in the Balcony Room. Ring the office for more information.

Magnet Groups – these are groups of 3-4 men who meet together weekly, fortnightly or monthly for accountability, encouragement and challenge. We encourage all men to get involved in a magnet group if at all possible. The Magnet group co-ordinator is Tim Saiet tim.saiet@stpauls-ealing.org

Restaurant Evening - There is an evening for Men at the Happiness Garden in Boston Manor Road on Monday 28th September. It will be £12.00 per head for as much as you can eat. Please ring Polly Neill in the office if you would like to reserve a place. 020 8579 9444
